Do you have a background in the Janitorial/Sanitation (JanSan) Industry, ideally in the healthcare and/or military arena? Our client, is a mission driven JanSan corporation, that specializes in providing Janitorial/Sanitation consumer products to major military organizations. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to work onsite at their headquarters in Orlando, Florida.  

The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving organic and inorganic sales, in addition to building and maintaining a multitude of relationships with manufacturer and distributor partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop relationships with sales representatives from multiple manufacturers to achieve conversion for products
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth, with a focus on expanding customer base within the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) and government sectors
  • Lead and mentor company Inside Sales Representative to maximize performance
  • Identify and purse new business opportunities through proactive networking
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, procurement officers, and strategic partners, to position the company as a trusted provider
  • Collaborate with internal teams, primarily customer service, to align sales goals with the company

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5-8 year of sales experience, preferably in janitorial/sanitation products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, finance or related field, MBA preferred
  • Experience in working with Veterans Affairs Medial Centers (VAMC) is a bonus
  • Understanding of government procurement processes, especially in healthcare
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven record of accomplishment of success in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Military background will be highly considered

Salary Base Range: $115,000.00-$150,000.00
